API ย่อมาจาก Application Programming Interface (อินเทอร์เฟซการเขียนโปรแกรมแอปพลิเคชัน) API กำหนดชุดของกฎและโปรโตคอลที่อนุญาตให้แอปพลิเคชันสองตัวสื่อสารกันได้ ในบริบทของ data analytics API ช่วยให้สามารถดึงข้อมูลจากบริการของบุคคลที่สาม (CRM เครื่องมือทางการตลาด ฐานข้อมูล) แบบโปรแกรมอัตโนมัติได้

## 2. REST API คืออะไร?

**คำตอบ**

REST (Representational State Transfer) เป็นรูปแบบสถาปัตยกรรมสำหรับ Web API ที่สร้างบนโปรโตคอล HTTP REST API ใช้ URL เพื่อระบุทรัพยากรและเมธอด HTTP (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE) เพื่อดำเนินการกับทรัพยากรเหล่านั้น REST เป็นมาตรฐานหลักสำหรับ API สมัยใหม่เพราะง่าย stateless และสามารถผสานกับภาษาโปรแกรมใดก็ได้
