## 1. O que é um Workflow no Symfony?

**Resposta**

Um Workflow no Symfony é um modelo de processo que define os passos (places) e as ações (transitions) que um objeto pode seguir. Ele gerencia fluxos complexos onde um objeto pode estar potencialmente em vários estados simultaneamente, ao contrário de uma state machine. O Workflow é baseado nos conceitos de redes de Petri e é adequado para processos de negócio com caminhos paralelos.

## 2. Qual é a diferença principal entre um Workflow e uma State Machine no Symfony?

**Resposta**

A diferença fundamental está no número de estados simultâneos possíveis. Uma State Machine permite apenas um estado ativo por vez (single_state), ideal para fluxos lineares como o ciclo de vida de um pedido. Um Workflow permite vários estados simultâneos (multiple_state), adequado para processos paralelos como a validação de um documento por vários departamentos.

## 3. Como definir o tipo de Workflow na configuração YAML do Symfony?

**Resposta**

O tipo de workflow é definido através da opção type na configuração YAML em framework.workflows.[name]. Os dois valores possíveis são workflow para permitir vários estados simultâneos, ou state_machine para permitir apenas um estado ativo. Essa escolha impacta automaticamente o tipo de marking store utilizado.
