O que é FinOps no contexto da cloud? **Resposta** FinOps (Financial Operations) é uma prática cultural que traz responsabilidade financeira ao modelo de gasto variável da cloud, combinando engenharia, finanças e negócio. Essa abordagem permite que as equipes tomem decisões orientadas por dados sobre os trade-offs entre velocidade, custo e qualidade. FinOps incentiva a colaboração entre desenvolvedores, finanças e operações para otimizar o valor de negócio da cloud. ## 2. Qual é a principal diferença entre Reserved Instances (RI) e Savings Plans na AWS? **Resposta** As Reserved Instances exigem um compromisso com um tipo de instância específico (família, tamanho, região) por 1 ou 3 anos, oferecendo até 72% de desconto. Os Savings Plans são mais flexíveis: aplicam-se automaticamente a diferentes famílias de instâncias, tamanhos e regiões, desde que o uso respeite um compromisso de gasto por hora ($/hora). Os Savings Plans geralmente oferecem melhor flexibilidade operacional para arquiteturas dinâmicas. ## 3. Quando usar Spot Instances na AWS? **Resposta** As Spot Instances oferecem até 90% de desconto, mas podem ser interrompidas com apenas 2 minutos de aviso. São ideais para workloads tolerantes a interrupções: batch processing, CI/CD builds, análise de dados, ML training. Recomenda-se combinar Spot com Auto Scaling Groups e estratégias de diversificação (múltiplos instance types/AZs) para maximizar a disponibilidade.
