## 1. Welke annotatie verandert een Java-klasse in een Spring MVC-controller?

**Antwoord**

@Controller markeert een klasse als Spring MVC-controller die HTTP-verzoeken verwerkt. Het is een specialisatie van @Component en stelt component scanning in staat de controller automatisch te detecteren. @RestController combineert @Controller en @ResponseBody voor REST-API's, terwijl @RequestMapping URL-mappings definieert maar op zichzelf geen controller declareert.

## 2. Wat is het belangrijkste verschil tussen @Controller en @RestController?

@RestController combineert @Controller en @ResponseBody, wat betekent dat alle methoden automatisch geserialiseerde gegevens (JSON/XML) retourneren in plaats van viewnamen. Bij @Controller moet je @ResponseBody aan elke methode toevoegen om gegevens te retourneren. @RestController is bedoeld voor REST-API's, terwijl @Controller wordt gebruikt voor traditionele webapplicaties met view-rendering.

## 3. Hoe map je een controller-methode aan een HTTP POST-verzoek op de URL /users?

**Antwoord**

@PostMapping is de gespecialiseerde annotatie om een methode te mappen aan POST-verzoeken op een specifieke URL. Het is een afkorting voor @RequestMapping(method = RequestMethod.POST). Andere gespecialiseerde annotaties zijn @GetMapping, @PutMapping, @DeleteMapping en @PatchMapping. Deze aanpak is leesbaarder en beknopter dan @RequestMapping met het method-attribuut.
