## 1. GitLab CI/CD 파이프라인을 정의하는 설정 파일의 이름은 무엇입니까?

리포지토리 루트에 있는 .gitlab-ci.yml 파일은 모든 파이프라인, stages, jobs 및 CI/CD 설정을 정의합니다. GitLab은 이 파일을 자동으로 감지하여 push 또는 merge request마다 파이프라인을 실행합니다. YAML 형식은 파이프라인 인프라를 코드로 정의하기 위한 선언적 구문을 제공합니다.

## 2. GitLab CI/CD에서 'stage'는 무엇을 나타냅니까?

**답변**

stage는 병렬로 실행되는 여러 jobs를 그룹화하는 파이프라인의 논리적 단계입니다. stages는 정의된 순서대로 순차적으로 실행됩니다(예: build → test → deploy). 동일한 stage 내의 jobs는 여러 runners를 사용할 수 있는 경우 병렬로 실행될 수 있습니다. stage에서 job이 실패하면 기본적으로 파이프라인이 중지됩니다.

artifacts는 job에 의해 생성되어 후속 jobs로 전달되거나 다운로드 가능한 파일입니다(예: 컴파일된 바이너리, 테스트 보고서). cache는 빌드 속도를 높이기 위해 의존성을 저장합니다(예: node_modules, .m2). artifacts는 jobs 간에 보장되지만 cache는 best-effort입니다. cache는 파이프라인 간 공유를 위해 키를 사용하고, artifacts는 파이프라인별입니다.
