## 1. Laravel におけるミドルウェアとは何ですか？

**回答**

ミドルウェアは、受信したリクエストや送信するレスポンスを検査・変更する HTTP フィルタリングの仕組みです。クライアントのリクエストとアプリケーションのレスポンスの間に位置する中間層として機能し、controller によるリクエスト処理の前後でコードを実行できます。ミドルウェアは認証、CSRF 検証、ロギング、ヘッダーの変更などに使用されます。

## 2. Artisan を使って新しいミドルウェアを作成するにはどうしますか？

**回答**

php artisan make:middleware コマンドは、app/Http/Middleware ディレクトリに新しいミドルウェアを生成します。このコマンドは、リクエストと next クロージャを受け取る handle メソッドを持つクラスを作成します。その後、ミドルウェアはグローバルに登録したり、グループ内に登録したり、bootstrap/app.php ファイル経由または routes 内で直接特定のルートに割り当てたりできます。

## 3. HTTP リクエストを処理する際に、middleware のどのメソッドが自動的に呼び出されますか?

**回答**

handle メソッドは、route に登録された各 middleware に対して自動的に呼び出されます。このメソッドは 2 つのパラメータを受け取ります。Request オブジェクトと、スタック内の次の middleware を表す next クロージャです。処理を継続するには、request を渡して next を呼び出す必要があります。このアーキテクチャにより、各 middleware が処理フローを検査、変更、または中断できる責任の連鎖を構築できます。
