## 1. GitLab CI/CD パイプラインを定義するための設定ファイルの名前は何ですか？

**回答**

リポジトリのルートにある .gitlab-ci.yml ファイルは、すべてのパイプライン、stages、jobs、CI/CD 設定を定義します。GitLab はこのファイルを自動的に検出し、push や merge request のたびにパイプラインを実行します。YAML 形式により、パイプラインのインフラをコードとして宣言的な構文で定義できます。

## 2. GitLab CI/CD において 'stage' は何を表しますか？

**回答**

stage は、並列実行される複数の jobs をグループ化するパイプラインの論理的なフェーズです。stages は定義された順序で順次実行されます（例: build → test → deploy）。同じ stage 内の jobs は、複数の runners が利用可能であれば並列で実行できます。stage 内で job が失敗すると、デフォルトではパイプラインが停止します。

## 3. GitLab CI における 'artifacts' と 'cache' の主な違いは何ですか？

**回答**

artifacts は job によって生成され、後続の jobs に渡されるか、ダウンロード可能なファイルです（例: コンパイル済みバイナリ、テストレポート）。cache はビルドを高速化するために依存関係を保存します（例: node_modules、.m2）。artifacts は jobs 間で保証されますが、cache はベストエフォートです。cache はパイプライン間で共有するためにキーを使用し、artifacts はパイプラインごとです。
